Alvington, Severn Lodge and the church
"... Shows cottages on main road Alvington. I think the one where Miss Kite lived out her life is top left".
Carolyn Schofield added: "... My mother lived with Miss Winifred Kite her aunt during the war, though not at the cottage in this row. We think the cottage on the left is the one she lived in during the 1960s and until her death".
Susan Jeffrey added (Feb 2016): "... Looking at the photograph Mrs Daisy and Charlie Dorrington lived in the left hand cottage during the Second World War until about 1965 when Daisy(widowed) moved to Reddings Close, Woolaston".
"... shows Severn Lodge from its front field and covered in creeper with the church behind".
