I was six when the war finished so can’t remember a lot about it. My father is in back row, second in from right. James “Bill” James. (Yes, James James!). I wonder who the others are?".
Back (all standing) L-R: 1,2,3, 4 Gordon Williams, 5 Dr. Brambell.?, 6,7,8,9 James 'Bil'” James, 10.
Middle (seated on chairs) L-R: 1 CAPT Douglas Egerton Cope, 2, 3, 4, 5.
Front (sitting on ground): L-R: 1 George Pever, 2, 3.
Steve Willatt added (June 2016): "... standing in the back row at 4 is Gordon Williams who was the son of Ralph Williams of Williams and Cotton. Ralph Williams was I am very proud to say my Great grandfather. Gordon Williams sadly was drowned in the Severn Estuary in the 1950's trying to save his springer spaniel which had been caught by the tide".
