Colin Henderson added: "... Charlie Hook is 4th in from left back row. Charlie was a good wicket keeper from Brockhollands"
Robert Harris added: "... Wilfred Meek taught at Bilson School, Cinderford and was later head at Littledean".
John Wilkes added: "... Wilf Meek was said by many to be the best man never to play for Gloucestershire".
Roger Matthews added: "... I had the pleasure of playing with or against some of these men when I was a very young cricketer between 1959 and 1964. I played for Berry Hill, Bream and Lydney. They were fine players. Bill Hudson even in his fifties was an absolutely awesome opening bowler. He taught me a lot. Johnny Morgans and DIT Thomas were two of the most elegant batsmen I ever saw. Wilf Meek was another wonderful stroke player. I remember bowling him at Bream when I was 14. He graciously said to my Dad after the match that he had'nt seen the ball. I retain a sneaking suspicion that he gave his wicket away to a youngster . . . Happy long ago days".
