Lydbrook House c 1966.

Margaret
wrote (Mar 2006): "The photograph is of Lydbrook House and the demolition
of the Viaduct. Lydbrook House was the home for many years of
Dr R. M. McMinn".
The Viaduct was dismantled between August 1965-March 1966.
Vicky Mc Minn added (October 2007): "This
is an amazing picture. My grandfather
was a cousin of Dr.R.M Mc Minn. In fact his family referred to Dr.
Mc Minn as Malcolm due to him and my grandfather having the same first name. The
house isn't very different to the one where Dr.Mc Minn grew up in , in
Northern Ireland. If anyone has any pictures of the doctor and
his wife , I would love to see them too".
Betty Brown added (August 2010): "... This wedding photograph is of my father Urban Pacey and my mother Hetty Gibson who came from Cwm Wales to work as cook housekeeper to Dr.Crichton at Lydbrook House previous to Dr.McMinn.They were married at Holy Jesus Church Lydbrook in 1932".
