Andrew Sekinger added (November 2011): "... Mrs Sekinger at row 4 extreme right is my grandmother Lily Sekinger. She was the school cook and lived at School House until the end of the 1960s. Row 3 third from right is my late aunt Rosemary Sekinger daughter of Lily. My father believes this photograph is 1954/5 by which time he had gone to East Dean Grammar".

Sarah French added (March 2012): "... think ... my family are on that photo as my grandparents were Barnard from Plump Hill

Dave Wade added (August 2013): "... This Picture could be 1955 or 1956, as it is at least two years after myself and Graham Jones left PHS in 1953 to go to East Dean. Janet Dee is a year younger than us and she does not appear in the Photo, so it is not 1954. She also went to East Dean afterwards. It is taken in the Junior Playground against the Back wall with the "Sandfords" House in the background".

Peggy Ryland added (September 2013): "... I was on the web and found this photograph which was super. My name was Peggy Matthews, my cousin Jean Roberts sat next to me. Great to see Flip and Flop. We also had a rabbit called Bunchey. The Queen's Coronation 1953 was great. We all piled into Mrs Sekinger's home to watch it on her TV. I still have the Coronation coach and horses we were given on on the day. Janet Dee is not on the photo but Margaret Dee her younger sister is. The photo is in the boy's playground. At the top we had our nature garden with bantam hens. I would think the picture was taken in 1953".

Thanks also to Ann Hancock, Kerry Jarratt and Brian Jones.
