Mrs Margaret Thatcher, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1979 to 1990, visits Rank Xerox, Mitcheldean.

Debbie Powell added (January 2010) "... In the top right hand picture Mrs Thatcher is seen talking to my dad, Norman Powell. I remember when she visited Ranks, dad had a picture of him giving her a peck on the cheek (I think his work mates egged him on!)"

Margery Sleeman is (presumably) the lady in the red blouse - thanks to John Smith.
