The trophy is the Forest of Dean Cricket Trophy.
Thanks to the "Forest of Dean and Wye Valley Review" for publishing the photo and to Mr Bryan Burrows of Parkend for supplying the names. Bryan added that Richard Thomas 's Grandson is Ben Shephard the TV presenter on GMTV and other shows.
The photo was taken outside the Parkend Memorial Hall.

In the 1926 season, Parkend won the Beaumont Cricket Shield for the third time in a row and were presented with a small shield to keep.

From the Monmouthshire Beacon 01 August 1857: On Wednesday last the return match was played between the gentlemen of the Parkend and Coleford Cricket Clubs, on the Coleford ground. Parkend runs scored are listed above.
