Peter Essex added (October 2014): "... Can anybody shed light on the relationship between this Miss Fryer and the young girl Nesta Fryer shown in the 1919 wedding photo from Blistors, Bream? Nesta was a teacher, never married, seems to have spent some time in Argentina and the USA, and died in 2006 at which time she owned a house called Salmon Stone at Etloe after previously living with her parents in a house there called Highfield. If Miss Fryer retired in 1955 after teaching at Viney Hill for 35 years, she sure wasn't Nesta, who was born in 1913 and can hardly have started teaching at about the age of 7. There were four Misses Fryer baptised at Blakeney between 1888 and 1896, the father being Arthur Fryer, so they could all have been the Viney Hill teacher".
