This great photo shows the 3 Bream men who were captured during World War II being welcomed by Bream Band and Bream residents in Parkend Road, Bream The date is probably 1945 or 1946.
The three P.O.W.s (who are in uniform) are Left to Right - Harry Preest, Les Brown, Ken Watkins.

Band Members (L to R) are : 1 (Far left at back) Albert Ellis, 2 Fred Morgan (with trombone), 3 (partly hidden), 4 (man in trilby at back - mostly hidden), 5 (lad in front in cap), 6 , 7 (next to drummer), 8 (directly behind drummer), 9 (next to drummer in cap) Horace Lucas, 10 Randel Philips , 11, 12 , 13 .Vic
At the back : 13 Man in trilby , 14
