An article in the Gloucester Citizen on 28/11/1949 states that the Women's Branch of the Bream British Legion celebrated 21 years that year. This dates it's formation to 1928. Mrs D. K. Percival of Priors Lodge nr Bream was the chairperson throughout that period.
