Elizabeth Charlotte Miles (b 1865) at Clements End. The windows are unusual for a Forest house. The cottage looks to have been built with an extension in mind at this end. Mrs Alice Cook confirms that this is Quab Cottage, she remembers visiting Quab Cottage with her mother as a child. In more recent years, the house appeared in the TV production of Dennis Potter's "The Singing Detective".

Elizabeth (above) married William JENKINS, who died in 1901.
Elizabeth then married Elmes JONES (born 1867), - pictured above.
Elizabeth died at Quab Cottage.
