Bream, the Downham family 1939

An old group photo from the 1930's of the Downham family of Bream.

Maureen wrote: "... The picture was taken when my parents John and Dorothea Pearce were visiting Bream - we think about 1938 /1939, possibly mum and dad's honeymoon?"

"From left to right - Beatrice Downham ( wife of Frank ), Norman Baker ( driver for bakery ), George Lewis, The man peeping over the shoulder of G.L. - Albert Downham ( son of Albert snr. ) The two girls Pam and Jean Downham. The man behind the girl with arms folded arms - my dad John Richard Pearce ( for fun he always called the girls Jam and Cream) Mrs Alice Batley Smaller lady - my mum Dorothea Pearce (nee Downham )"
