Row 1: (seated L-R): 1 Alfred Crabbe. 2 Charles (Charlie) Pocock
Pat Barnes added: "... Last RH back row looks like Jim Barnett. He was still a special constable in early 1960's whilst working as an engine driver at Lydney Loco shed".
Karen Goulding added (March 2026): "... Second from the left in the front row is my great-grandfather Charles (Charlie) Pocock. Moved to Lydney after leaving the army in the 1920s and lived there for the rest of his life. He's also on a photo of the special constables marching along the High Street/Newerne Street.".
