Tutshill Mother's Union c.1929

An old photo of Tutshill Mother's Union

Sharon wrote: "... This is a photo of the Mother's Union based at Tutshill".
"We think the date is approximately 1929, as the child on the bottom right is Kath Green born in 1926, with her mother Alice Simmonds".
"We don't know anyone else, although we think it may feature Jane Jones - our great grandmother - or some of her relatives. Jane would have lived in Tutshill at this time before moving down to Sedbury".

"The building was the church hall, on the site of Tutshill school, known as the hut, or the tin hut. In the 1960's - and before - it was used for school dinners. Someone remembers sitting their 11+ exam in it. It was also used for Brownies".

Can anyone add any more information?.
